Talk #1 - Nightmare Navigator - Building a Horror Movie Telegram Bot - Angela Scherer
A short walkthrough of building a Telegram bot in Go that delivers curated horror movie recommendations. The talk covers library choices and trade-offs, shows how the bot parses flexible user queries, and explains how scheduled jobs keep recommendations up to date.

Talk #2 - One Collector to rule them all - Florian Lehner
Traces, Metrics, and Profiles with the OTel Collector - Most people know the OpenTelemetry Collector for traces and metrics, but did you know it can handle profiling data too? This talk is a hands-on introduction to the OTel Collector, explaining what it is, why you'd want it, and how to configure it to receive profiling signals alongside your existing telemetry.

Talk #3 - oopsie: improving startup time and binary size with git bisect and go size analyzer - Tom Payne
In this quick talk, we'll do a bit of performance debugging. We'll use git, Go, and go-size-analyzer to identify exactly what's causing slow startup and binary bloat in a popular open source project.

The format will be talks followed by an open discussion with refreshments.

This Meetup is a collaboration with the Elastic Switzerland User Group and seats are limited. Please RSVP and if there is no more room here, check their page for available seats. Also please free up your seat if you find you can't attend.

Thank you so much to Open Systems in advance for supporting our community event!

    Hope to see you there!
