Looking for help in getting into running? Hoping to enter some local races? Or maybe find a partner to train long term?

I am hoping that this group can be a place for people to be able to get the support needed to reach their personal running/walking goals.

I personally am hoping to get work up to longer distances with an ultimate goal of running a marathon. That is long term though and will begin with working up to 6K first, then 10K.

This group will be geared more towards beginners/casual or getting back into running as that is what I am.
