Recap 6/29/25
Day 8, we are still hiking through the dense forest with what remains of the farmers market. there are about 50 altogether, most of them are simple farmers, but there are some that will be beneficial in our travels.
We were ambushed in the forest by several Hobgoblin warriors, it was a hard long battle, but we did prevail. Unfortunately we did lose 3 farmers from the raid, but we did get some goods, and food for the caravan, that the Hobgoblins had on them. To the victor go the spoils.
Recap 7/6/25
We finally make it to the druid grove, the grove is home to some centaur druids. They welcome all of us, and even offer a chance for the refuges to plant crops, and forage for food. We settle in, and set up a watch as Hobgoblins are everywhere, In the middle of the night we are attacked by some. The centaurs help, and we defeat the enemy, still needing to rest we hope to make to morning.
Recap 9-7-25
We make it through the night at the old druid grove, the centaurs that live there ask us to warn the nearby wizard of all the hostile hobgoblins, and offer protection back to the grove. We head off into the forest and run into a small band of goblins, we have a battle in the woods, and take down the enemy scouts. We find out from one of the dying goblins that they just scouted a settlement of troglodytes in a cave not to far away, and the name Azaersi, a general in command of the hobgoblins . besides there loot we find a similar note from their commanders to scout over the nearby lands, and report back. We continue to the wizards hut in the woods, her name is Veld, and after a friendly parlay she joins us. on the way back we come across an angry/frustrated giant boar. After a discussion on what to do, go around, or kill it, we decide to kill it for the refuges rations. after the battle we discover a ring stuck on its tooth, +1 ring of protection was a toothache for the boar. We make it back to the grove, and then decide to warn the troglodytes about the recent Hobgoblin attacks. On our way there we accidently sneak up on a small group of goblins and a cart, being pulled by two Worgs. We get a surprise round, and begin the battle. Asa casts grease dropping a worg, and goblin, and Jeff makes the battle easier by casting color spray on the closest goblins, although it would be dangerous to his health. Jeff takes a beating but makes it through the round to cast another color spray taking more goblins out of the battle. The rest of the party moves in for cleanup on the remaining few that could fight. After the battle we tie up the captured goblins, and discover more rations, and other goods in the cart. We use the goblins to pull the cart, and take it all back to the druid grove for the centaurs and refuges. We head out again to the troglodyte camp, and this time we are going to offer the goblins, and slayed worgs as food to help in our parley. with some good diplomacy from Asa we successfully get the trogs to take the goblins for rations, this should be enough reason for them to fight each other instead of joining forces.
