Scala.js

Scala.js (http://www.scala-js.org/) allows you to use Scala to write applications for the browser. We will build a little example application that shows the development setup and how to use JavaScript libraries such as jQuery from Scala. We will examine how to test the code and how to call Scala functions from JavaScript.

Lutz Huehnken

Lutz Huehnken is a Trainer and Consultant at Typesafe. He has worked in professional software development since 1997, and has successfully deployed major web applications for clients in different fields (retail, logistics, hospitality, finance). After 15 years of Java development, Lutz has made the switch to Scala in 2012 and has made it his ongoing task to help others to do the same.
