What we’re about

A group designed to offer singers of all levels a safe and empowering environment to learn and explore vocal freedom and embodiment in a small and supportive group setting.
These 6-week courses are designed as an alternative and compliment to individual singing lessons, in order to experience greater synergy and inspiration in a format that makes achieving greater awareness and support possible. These short and intensive courses are devised and led by Beth Schuld, one of Edmonton's highly experienced and well known improvisers/vocal instructors. Conducted with a supportive, holistic approach, the course will cover the following:
- Improvisational techniques and approaches
- Develop and understand how the voice works and various approaches to improvement
- An exploration into the student's unique capacity to improve and develop technique
- Unlocking creative potential in all aspects of singing and vocal practice
- Provide a context and basis for improvised group composition
