What we’re about

Peer Support Circle for Overcoming Self-Harm Patterns

Facilitated by Perry Chaulk

This is a peer-led support group designed for individuals who identify with or have struggled with self-harm, self-hatred, or emotional dysregulation—but who are otherwise functioning in daily life and seeking greater emotional balance.

The goal of this group is to create a safe, open, and non-judgmental space where participants can:

Recognize and understand the underlying patterns of self-harming behaviours (both emotional and physical)

Share personal experiences and insights in a supportive environment

Learn practical, peer-informed strategies to improve emotional regulation and quality of life

Connect with others who value personal growth, mutual support, and healthy functioning

This is not a therapy group. While I am a therapist, I will participate as a facilitator, not a clinician. The focus is on peer connection, shared wisdom, and mutual support rather than formal treatment.

Our conversations will explore how intelligent, capable, and caring people can still fall into patterns of emotional self-harm—and how awareness, compassion, and community can help shift those patterns toward healthier living.

Who it’s for:

Adults who are high-functioning but privately struggle with self-criticism, shame, or self-sabotage

People seeking emotional support and accountability from others on a similar journey

Anyone wanting to transform their inner dialogue and develop healthier self-relationship skills
