There are a lot of complicated things happening in the world right now. Pie isn’t one of them.

Pie is warm. Pie is messy. Pie comes in all kinds of flavors. Pie is made to be shared.

Pie somehow tastes even better when you’re eating it with other people.

And, as far as we can tell… Pie is for everyone.

So… We’re throwing a Pie Party in the Park.

That’s it.

It’s just pie. In the park.

Come eat free pie.

Bring a pie if you’d like (homemade or store-bought—we honestly don’t care), but please don’t feel like you have to.

We’ll have plenty.

Really.

There is plenty.

There will be music. Conversation. Laughter. New friends. Old friends (if you bring 'em). Kids running around. Maybe a few dogs. No program (maybe some nice words about pie). No pressure. No fundraising. No catch. Just pie. Stay for five minutes. Stay for two hours.

We’d simply love to share a slice of pie and a moment of sacred human connection with you.

Afterward, if you’d like, a group of us will head over together to Grace Presbyterian Church for a beautiful Sunset Communion service. You’re warmly invited to join us there, too.
