Between the Pages: June Meet Up

Details
Hi everyone!
Our next book club pick for June is the novel Hotel du Lac by Anita Brookner, winner of the 1984 Booker Prize.
Hotel du Lac follows Edith Hope, a romantic novelist who retreats to a quiet hotel on Lake Geneva after a personal scandal in London. As she observes the eccentric guests and reflects on her own choices, Edith is confronted with the tensions between independence and belonging, appearance and reality, love and compromise.
