Between the Pages: November '26 Meet Up

🍂📚 November’s Book Pick: A Very Special Anniversary! 📚🍂

I'm so excited to announce next month’s read, and this one is extra special!
In November, Between the Pages is celebrating TWO YEARS of bookish conversations, lovely people, and shared stories!

To mark the occasion, we’re going back to where it all began with our very first book club pick: Madonna in a Fur Coat by Sabahattin Ali.
First published in 1943, this beautifully melancholic Turkish novel tells the story of Raif Efendi, a quiet and seemingly unremarkable man whose diary reveals a deeply moving tale of love, longing, loneliness, and a life forever changed by a chance encounter in Berlin. At its heart, it’s a story about the hidden worlds we carry within us and the connections that leave a lasting mark on our lives.

And what better book for a November morning? With its introspective atmosphere, quiet melancholy, and themes of solitude, memory, and love, Madonna in a Fur Coat feels perfectly suited to those darker, cosier autumn days when we want to curl up with a good book and get lost in another world.

Can’t wait to revisit this special read, reflect on how far our little book club has come, and celebrate two wonderful years of Between the Pages with you all! 💌
