BevSecOps - a friendly meetup to learn and teach about DevSecOps and IT

Hello Canberra,

Synergy Group and GitLab are proud to present the October BevSecOps meetup on the 17th @ 6pm.

We are continuing as a casual community of Canberrans who are interested in smarter ways to develop, run, and maintain software, including how to help ensure that the right product is built.

This month will feature one of our community members Szabolcs (Szasza) Palmer, an experienced DevSecOps professional presenting on a topic close to home for all of us and the new laws around the Right to Disconnect:
The DevOps work-work-life balance: How to try to achieve balance between firefighting, improving the tooling, and fitting in your private life without grinding your employer's company to a halt.

We will also be hosting a lightning talk or two from other community members presenting on what they love and are passionate about at the moment.

Come along and enjoy some pizza and drinks while we talk about all thing's DevSecOps.

We will be starting the presentations after a short welcome at 6, you are welcome to show up at 5:30 and have a chat and sign in.

1 - A range of beverages will be served, including water, beer, soft drinks and access to tea and coffee if you like.

Presentations from the community are highly encouraged! Please reach out to Elric and we will find a time to book you in and help you refine your presentation if you would like help taking that first speaking step.
Additionally, if you have a problem you are trying to solve, please reach out and we can try and find a time in the next session to help you get community feedback and assistance.
