The theme for October will be a little bit different. It won’t exactly be a critique.
1 TRAVEL PHOTOS. Upload 4 of your own personal travel photos. If you have been to downtown Noplace, that’s a travel photo.
2. INTERESTING. We are looking for only one thing. That the photos are Interesting. Not technically polished, not good composition, not esthetically pleasing. just Interesting.
3. STORY TELLING. Tell us the story about your photos. How or why you came to be there, what you did, why it’s interesting. What the place is like. Expect a few questions.
4. TIME-LIMITED. There will be a 10 minute cap, on your presentation - storytelling.
5. BEAUTY CONTEST. After your story we will give you our views on which one is the most Interesting. Not the most perfect, only the most Interesting.
6. WHAT MAKES A PHOTO INTERESTING? There’s no set answer. But gesture, expression, surprise, juxtaposition and surprise all help. A lot.
You will receive a Zoom link after you register and the actual meeting will be on Zoom. Please Upload your 4 great photos to this month's Meetup album by 2:00 PM the day of or sooner.
