## Starting Over Alone: How to Build a Life, Find Your People & Feel at Home in Chiang Mai 🌿

đź“… Thursday, August 13
⏰ 6:00 PM–8:00 PM
📍 Spice Garden, Chiang Mai
Moving to Chiang Mai can feel exciting, freeing, and full of possibilities—especially when you are beginning a new chapter.
But starting over alone also comes with challenges that people do not always talk about.
You can meet many friendly people and still feel lonely. You can attend events every week but struggle to develop deeper friendships. You can enjoy your freedom while still wondering where you truly belong.
This evening, Beyond Small Talk Chiang Mai invites you to an open, supportive, and practical conversation about creating a meaningful life and finding genuine connections in Chiang Mai.
Together, we will explore:
• What did you leave behind when you moved here?
• What has surprised you most about living alone abroad?
• What parts of solo life feel liberating—and what parts feel difficult?
• Why is it easy to meet people but harder to build real friendships?
• What helps Chiang Mai begin to feel like home?
• How can acquaintances become activity partners, close friends, or even chosen family?
• What kind of connection are you missing most right now?
