Sex vs. Intimacy: What Are We Really Looking For?
location : Spice Garden ( Aquarium Room)
Sept 3 at 6pm .

What’s the difference between having sex and truly being intimate with someone?
Can you have great sex without emotional intimacy? Can you experience deep intimacy without sex? And why do some people find physical connection easy—but emotional vulnerability incredibly difficult?
Join us for an open, respectful, and thought-provoking discussion about sex, intimacy, attraction, vulnerability, affection, emotional connection, and the human need to feel close to another person.
We’ll explore questions such as:

*What does intimacy actually mean to you?

  • Can sex create intimacy—or does intimacy need to come first?
*Is cuddling, touching, talking, or feeling emotionally safe sometimes more intimate than sex?
  • Why might someone desire physical closeness but fear emotional closeness?
*What happens when two people have very different needs for sex and intimacy?
  • Does what we want from intimacy change as we get older?
*Can friendship provide some of the intimacy we normally associate with romantic relationships?

This is not a lecture and there are no right or wrong answers. It’s a relaxed group conversation where adults can share as much—or as little—as they feel comfortable sharing.
Come with an open mind, respect different perspectives, and be ready for a meaningful conversation.
Sex vs. Intimacy — maybe what we're really searching for isn't just physical connection, but the feeling of truly being seen, wanted, understood, and connected.
