Tour des Muverans

The Tour des Muverans is a 52km multi-day tour that takes us around the Muverans Massif. It is a classic Alpine tour and ideal for those who are new to this sort of adventure.

Bea describes it as the most beautiful part of Switzerland and she should know!

We will be possibly visiting Bea at the Sorniot hut where Bea and Keith may be volunteering there running the hut.

Rough Itinerary (subject to change with participants)

Day 1: Travel to Les Plans sur Bex (from Birmingham)
Day 2: TdM Day 1
Day 3: TdM Day 2
Day 4: TdM Day 3
Day 5: TdM Day 4
Day 6: Return to UK

Please note that dates/plans may change depending upon discussions with people, flight availability etc.

Requirements

• Participated in a B3P event in previous 12 months
• Good standard of fitness to cope with multiple days of walking whilst carrying all your own gear
• Comfortable with scrambling as there are chains and ladders on the route plus rocky sections
• Sleeping bag liner and pillow case for use in the huts

Approximate Costings

• Flight with hold luggage from B'ham (other airports are available) to Geneva (£180-220)
• Geneva to Les Plans sur Bex (£30)
• Overnight accommodation in Les Plans sur Bex (£45)
• 4 nights hut accommodation DB&B (£250ish)
• Overnight accommodation in Les Plans sur Bex (£45)
• Lunches, snacks, beer etc. (???)
