About us

Whether retired or on active duty, there just aren't enough resources for First Responders to connect about the emotional stress that they face. After the Call is a community for First Responders who understand that sometimes the hardest part of the job happens after the call is over. This Group is not about talking about specific cases, it's about relating to other people who "Get It".

Created for law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, dispatchers, hospital staff and other first responders, this group offers a relaxed, confidential space to connect with people who understand the unique pressures of the work.

We’ll talk about stress and burnout, relationships, sleep, anger and irritability, trauma, staying mentally sharp, and building a life outside the uniform. This is a multi-week program that uses science to help you understand how to regulate and to manage stressors.

This is NOT psychotherapy. The group is led by a psychotherapist who works with First Responders experiencing PTSD and understands the importance of connection in preventing and healing from trauma. Each week, we’ll also share practical tools you can use in everyday life.

No judgment. No pressure. No need to explain the job. On or off Screen engagement is fine. I Just ask you to bring and open mind.

Also, PTSD is not completely preventable, but early intervention is a key component of reducing long term effects.

The call ends. What you carry afterward matters.
