Hike: 3 Lakes

Jeanette will host this beautiful hike!
-Meet at Glacier Express Café downtown by 10:00am.
-There are many routes to take at 3 Lakes and we can decide in the morning on the day of the Meet-up. I personally love the Crane Lake route down to Fredrick's Sound, OR to start at Hill Lake and make a loop around to Sand or Crane Lakes.
-We will carpool to 3 Lakes. If you are willing to drive, send the event host a note with how many people can ride with you. Please be on-time so we can arrange carpooling and decide what route to take once we get there.
-We will hit the trail around 11:00am (depending on how long it takes to get there).
-Total time expected at site is 5 hours or less.
-There is no cell service at the lakes. Host will have a map, but others are welcome to check the route before leaving.
-Be prepared with your water, hiking shoes, a sack lunch, and camera! We highly recommend your shoes be slip-resistant as the boardwalks get very slick. We also recommend a walking stick or trekking poles to help your balance on tricky trail areas.
-There are no restrooms! Be prepared to use the great outdoors if needed. We can stop at The Trees on the way back into town for restrooms and refreshments.
-If you have hiked before, you will find this to be a easy-to-moderate trail with lots of stairs/steps.
