Walk: Sandy Beach to City Creek & back

Lace up your hiking boots and join Beyond the Desk - PMC Meetup Group for an outdoor walk to explore the new updated City Creek Trail! Come connect with fellow teammates, breathe in the fresh air, and embrace the beauty of nature as we make our way through lush forest, over boardwalks, and newly refinished paved trail. We'll pass over several creek outlets and end making a loop back to Sandy Beach. This is an easy walk without much elevation gain, but be prepared with good hiking shoes to traverse slick boardwalks and possibly muddy conditions.

Jeanette will be hosting this beautiful walk!
-Meet at Sandy Beach at the South parking lot at 1:00pm. There is an informational bulletin board roadside that we can all meet at then start the trail together.
-Total time expected approximately 2 hours.
-Be prepared with water, hiking shoes, and a camera! Consider bringing a walking stick or a trekking pole to help with balance on narrow boardwalks (optional).
-There are rustic outhouse-type bathrooms on sight, but might still be closed this time of year. There are not many places to go off into the woods and have privacy.
-If you have walk or hike regularly, this will be an easy trail. If you are new to walking/hiking you may find this trail a little long, but totally doable!
