Agile for Distributed Teams

Details
Blurb:
Distributed teams are a reality for all of us today: whether you work in a startup, a BigCo, a government agency or a nonprofit. And when you are working with people who aren't always in the same room at the same time, everything suddenly gets a lot harder. A big part of the problem is that traditional Agile tools and practices haven't adapted well to a distributed world.
January's Beyond Agile is going to be different as we take a hands-on approach to understanding how distributed agile teams can work better! Instead of a traditional presentation, we will have a fun, fast-paced, very immersive experience that actually solves a real-world problem in real-time, as a distributed team!
Our featured speaker is Arun Kumar, founder and CEO of Kerika. Arun will provide a short introduction on how distributed agile teams are succeeding in different sectors and geographies, and then we will jump right into a real distributed team experience with Jeff Pasek and Aki Namioka.
