Enterprise software is critical to the success of most enterprises today; it brings best practices and efficiency needed for meeting the demands of the global marketplace. However, enterprise software deployment projects experience a high failure rate due to a myriad of reasons. Applying principles of agile methods, we can increase the success rate of these projects. Given the size and criticality of enterprise software, applying agile methods to enterprise software is a complex undertaking.

Bio

Sal Faizi, has over twenty years of experience in software development, architecture, and enterprise software deployment. He is currently part of the team that is deploying the largest SAP ERP solution. Sal has extensive experience in applying agile methods such as scrum and SAFe; his education consists of computer engineering, MBA, and advance IT education. Sal has published journal articles on various IT related subjects including lifecycle management methodologies.
