You've built it around resources, you use HTTP verbs and response codes like it's your primary language, your JSON is thoughtful and succinct, and you have hypermedia controls to help your API consumers be self sufficient. Wait. What did you say? "What's hypermedia?" Why, hypermedia is the next step to leveling up your API! This talk will give an introduction to the concept of hypermedia: what it is, why it's useful, why it might be worth your time, why it might not be worth your time, and we'll look at a few API responses both before and after introducing hypermedia.
