Where Unitarian Universalist Church of Bowling Green Meditation Room (bottom floor of the Fellowship Hall)

New to Zen Meditation? There will be brief meditation instruction provided for those new to meditation - come a few minutes early

If you are new to Zen here are two resources for Zen meditation-

What do you need?

If you have a meditation cushion bring it. If you don't have a meditation cushion we have cushions and meditation benches to use. Wear loose comfortable clothes in muted colors if available.

Schedule (tentative)

Brief Zazen/meditation instruction for those who need it (sitting and walking) ~ 10 min

Sitting meditation - 20 min

Walking meditation - 5 min

Sitting meditation - 20 min

Dharma Discussion and Q and A - 10-15 min

This is a new group so this is subject to some change.

When: We start at 9 am and end between 10:15 and 10:30. If you need to come late and meditation has begun, simply come in quietly and sit. If you need to leave early, simple leave quietly.
