About us
Bhakti, Nada Yoga & Sound Somatics Thursdays
Awakenings Wellness Center, SE PDX -In Person
7:30pm-9:00pm
Because sound is not just something we listen to.
It is a pathway — a bridge — into higher consciousness.
In many sacred traditions, sound is the original vibration, the pulse from which all creation emerged. When we work with sound consciously — through mantra, humming, rāga, breath, intuitive voice, or silence — we begin to access states of awareness that are clearer, quieter, and more connected than the thinking mind.
And our voice…
Our voice is not merely an instrument.
It is a portal.
A portal into emotional release.
A portal into our nervous system.
A portal into memory, intuition, and inner knowing.
A portal into the deeper intelligence of who we truly are.
When we free the voice, we free the self.
When we sing together, we lift not only our own consciousness, but the consciousness of the collective field.
That is the heart behind these Thursday nights.
