Nada-Vocal Yoga, Sound Somatics & Embodied Voice Night
Details
This evening is a deeply supportive, trauma-informed exploration of how sound, movement, and breath can regulate the nervous system, release emotional tension, and awaken the voice. We blend somatic practices with breath-led soundwork, including pranayama / yogic breathwork, vocal toning, humming, gentle shaking, grounding movements, intuitive singing, indian raaga based practices and simple chanting to open the voice and heart.
This night is not about performance — it is about personal healing, emotional expression, and embodied presence. Participants are invited to use their voice in a safe, non-judgmental space, reconnecting with inner sound, and cultivating a deeper relationship with their body. The experience is intentionally slow, grounding, and accessible to all levels and sensitivities.
The session will include a mix of:
- somatic warm-ups and grounding practices
- Indian raaga based vocal practice
- pranayama and yogic breathwork for regulation
- humming, resonance, and vocal toning
- intuitive, improvised singing guided by inner sensation
- Chanting practices for focus, energetic opening, and heart connection
- gentle movement, micro-movements, and shaking for tension release
- a calming integration period with soft sound or silence
- a warm community mingling time at the end of the session to connect, share, and unwind together
Perfect for those seeking nervous system support, emotional release, voice liberation, and a grounded, embodied connection with themselves through sound. All levels welcome.
