About us
# Welcome to Bhakti School NYC!
Bhakti School NYC is an educational hub dedicated to spreading the timeless wisdom and teachings of bhakti, the path of devotional service, as enunciated in the ancient scriptures rooted in the ancient Vedic culture. Based on the profound teachings and translations of the ancient Sanskrit bhakti texts by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, our educational programs aim to touch hearts, awaken souls, and inspire individuals to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth.
# Our Vision

We aspire to create a global community of empowered individuals who find fulfillment and purpose by deepening their connection with the Divine through the practice of bhakti. By promoting spiritual values, we aim to cultivate harmony, understanding, and respect among diverse cultures, fostering a society that embraces unity in diversity.

The Darshan Room - Meditation for the Modern Age
305 Schermerhorn St, Brooklyn, NY, US"Imagine discovering that the person manipulating, harassing, and sabotaging your life was someone you hired--and continue to protect.
Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī exposes a disturbing truth in Śrī Manah-śikṣā: lust, anger, and greed are not strangers. They are familiar voices we trust, defend, and refuse to block--despite decades of evidence that they harm us.
This talk explores why we remain loyal to internal enemies, how spiritual intelligence differs from self-deception, and what it actually means to ""cut ties"" with forces we secretly believe we need.Hi 🙋♂️ I’m Chandra, (AKA Nityananda Chandra)
I began my journey into the spirituality of the East over 30 years ago. Since then I have spent many years studying Vedic philosophy in ashrams around the USA and India. I have been teaching topics such as karma, Ayurveda, the guṇas of yoga, meditation, kirtan, Bhagavad Gītā, and so on.
My teaching journey has led me to speak at many universities, multinational companies, yoga studios, retreats, and in humble settings of homes and 12-step programs. Teaching is my passion, helping others help oneself is what inspires me.- 🤘Punk to monk 🙊
