Sidwalk is hosting their Festival de Cine with a series of Spanish-language movies. Join other Spanish-speaking enthusiasts to watch La Pecera (The Fishbowl). A Q & A will follow the event.
This is an informal gathering not officially associated with Sidewalk and attendees are responsible for purchasing their own tickets. We will gather shortly before the movie starts at the seating area near the bookshelves.
As her cancer spreads, Noelia's ultimate decision is to return to her native Vieques, Puerto Rico, and claim her freedom to decide her own fate. She reunites with her friends and family, who are still dealing with the contamination of the U.S. Navy after 60 years of military practices. PLEASE NOTE: This screening is part of Sidewalk's Festival De Cine series, and the Sunday screening will include an introduction and discussion after the film.
