About Record:
Record was the winner of The Blockchain for Social Impact Coalition's 2017 Hackathon in the category of "Identity & Vulnerable Populations".
The mission of Record can be summarized as "Bridging Trust Between Law Enforcement & Communities via Immutable Evidence Management on the Ethereum Blockchain". By storing bodycam footage on the blockchain, Record digitally preserves chain of custody and verifies authenticity of evidence. The goal is to provide a solution that offers an immutable digital evidence management framework and an open reputation network that enables accountability between law enforcement and their community.
