Exodus 24: Can anyone see God's face and live?

Details
Question: Can anyone see God and survive?
What is your understanding of the following passages that seem to contradict themselves?
Exodus 24 says that Moses and 73 other people went up and saw God.
Exodus 33:11 says, "So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle."
Yet,
Exodus 33:20 says, "But He said, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live."
John 1:18 says, "No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him."
A lot to discuss. Come share your thoughts.
In our church (the New Church of Phoenix), we believe that the Word of God has a deeper meaning, that there is a spiritual meaning to the sense of the letter of the Word. The Word of God is full of correspondences (codes), representations, and significatives which, like a parable, you need to decode to understand.
During our Bible studies, we read the Word of God and see how it applies to life. We also explain the deeper meaning of the Word in light of the Writings (revelations) for the New Church, written by the Lord's servant, Emanuel Swedenborg.
If you feel confused by the Bible and are interested in learning more about the deeper meaning of the Word, you'll love our Bible study group. And if you believe everything in the Word literally as it is written in the pages of the Bible, then maybe you'll give us a chance to surprise you.
You will receive the link for this online meetup once you RSVP.
