Bicerin – Trip to the National Gallery

Welcome to Bicerin, a meetup group for anyone passionate about the liberal arts—whether that’s philosophy, painting, writing, or any other creative or intellectual pursuit that feeds the soul (see the group page for more information).

For this meetup, we’re heading to the National Gallery in London to immerse ourselves in the wonders of the Baroque period and Impressionist masterpieces.
Expect to encounter iconic works by artists such as Caravaggio, Rubens, and Velázquez, as well as timeless pieces from Van Gogh, Monet, and Degas—with a nod to Post-Impressionist greats like Cézanne.
It’s a perfect chance to see some incredible art up close, get inspired, and share thoughtful conversations.

Event Details:

• Departure: Canterbury West (meet at 9:30 AM) to Charing Cross
  (Super off-peak train, day return - we advice to book in advance)
• Lunch: Italian pizza restaurant near the gallery (Da Michele or Vasiniko)
• Return: We'll be heading back by 5 PM
