📍 Meet at Canterbury WEST • 🕙 Time 9:50 AM • 🎨 Explore the National Gallery, London
Pack your curiosity, a sense of wonder, and a ready smile — we’re stealing a day from the ordinary to walk among painted dreams and tangled histories.
Departing Canterbury at 10:06 AM, we’ll make our way to the heart of London’s artistic treasure chest: the National Gallery, Trafalgar Square. Here, where Van Gogh’s sunlit blooms whisper, Titian’s queens command, and Constable’s gentle landscapes hum with memory, we’ll let the art lead us into conversation and connection.
If along the way you find yourself puzzled or intrigued by an artistic technique, a material choice, or a painter’s sleight of hand, Antonello Mirone (atelier-trained artist) will be on hand to offer explanations — informal, generous, and sparked by curiosity rather than lectures.
Feel free to drift toward the paintings that pull at you, then gather back to share impressions, questions, and thoughts that only great art can provoke.
