BTCEB CROCKETT HILLS TRAIL WORK DAY, Thursday April 2nd, 2026

Join the Bicycle Trails Council of the East Bay (BTCEB) for a morning of trail work at Crockett Hills Regional Park. We'll enter from the Cummings Skyway gate and stage from the picnic tables at top of the Sugar City trail.
Bring a bike! We're planning on brushing in the Tree Frog / Warep zone. Long pants and long sleeves would be best.

LOCATION:
• Where: Meet: at the Crockett Ranch Gate (78-15) on Cummings Skyway, NOT IN THE STAGING PARKING LOT OFF CROCKETT BLVD. (https://www.google.com/maps/place/38%C2%B001'42.6%22N+122%C2%B012'25.2%22W/@38.028496,-122.20701,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m4!3m3!8m2!3d38.028496!4d-122.20701?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDIxOC4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D) off Cummings Skyway (see “directions” and linked map) no later than 9 am.; parking will be available inside the gate.
• Directions:
◦ From I-80: take the Cummings Skyway exit and head SE (uphill, towards Martinez / Hwy 4). The trailhead will be on your right, 2.2 miles from I-80 (.7 miles past the Cummings Skyway / Crockett Blvd intersection / stoplight)
◦ From Hwy 4: take the Cummings Skyway exit and head NW (towards Crockett / I-80). The trailhead will be on your left, 1.3 miles from Hwy 4
OTHER NOTES:
• Attire: Bring work gloves. Dress in layers to accommodate changing weather. We'll plan on working from 9 till about 12:30 pm, and get you out by 1 pm. If you need to leave earlier than 1 pm that works out too.
• Equipment: Implements / tools will be provided
• Bring water.
