Ride Like a Girl
Hosted by Bicycle Trails Council of the East Bay
Details
Bicycle Trails Council of the East Bay (http://www.btceb.org) has a group ride for women only, the first Saturday of the month. The emphasis of these rides will be fun and to meet other women who love to ride. We have rides geared towards all level of riders with experience leaders.
This month we are mixing it up a bit. I am doing an advanced intermediate and above ride at El Corte de Madero on Saturday and we will have a mellower ride on Sunday (please see Sunday's date for details). The majority of this ride is on narrow single track with a significant drop off the side in some places, so good bike handling is important. There will be a fair amount of climbing as well. The loop is ~14 miles with 2700' If you are an experienced rider with good stamina, you will love this place...it's one of my favorites!
Please arrive early so that we can roll as close to 9:30 as possible.
Members and nonmembers welcome. If you have questions please email Karen (K.Lynaugh@comcast.net).
