The Vertica Big Data Conference (BDC) is and continues to be such a special event. But what makes it different from any other Big Data Conference? It’s simple. Speakers at the Vertica BDC are Vertica customers from around the globe who tell real world stories plus technical and best practices sessions from our Vertica engineers who design and build the product itself.

This year, the Vertica BDC will be a virtual event, and while nothing will replace the benefits of face-to-face interaction, the virtual BDC does have a great advantage – attendance is FREE and no travel approvals are necessary! You can REGISTER NOW and in the next few days, you’ll receive additional information about how to log in and participate in the virtual BDC.

The Vertica BDC Keynote session will begin on Tuesday, March 31st at 10 am EDT and sessions will continue throughout the day on Tuesday and on Wednesday, April 1st. The BDC Keynote will feature Colin Mahony, Vertica SVP & General Manager, Amy Fowler, VP of Strategy & Solutions for FlashBlade at Pure Storage, and John Yovanovich, Director of IT at AT&T. Additional information on customer led and engineering led sessions will continue to be visible on the BDC website every day.

All sessions will be recorded and posted on the BDC website after they are completed so if the time zone doesn’t work for you, you’re still able to hear from all of the planned speakers.
