Speaker bio
Todd McGrath is a Solution Architect at StreamSets and the author of 5 books. He has over 20 years of software experience in development, analytics, integration, data engineering, and management.
After 6 years in Silicon Valley at 3 startups in the 1990s, Todd and his wife Sara moved to Costa Rica to try to learn how to surf. Because a career in surfing didn't work out, he started and ran a custom software development company for over 10 years. In 2012, he returned to the world of high growth, venture-backed software start-ups. Todd feels fortunate to have had the opportunities to deliver into high pressure, demanding environments at many of the world's most well-known brands.
Todd lives in Minneapolis and outside of work, you can usually find him at one of his kid's extracurricular events, walking his two golden retrievers or retreating from technology up North at the cabin.
