Matt Hunt, R&D at Bloomberg: "Hadoop at Bloomberg: Medium Data for the Financial Industry"

Matthew Hunt is the architect of Bloomberg's Portfolio Analytics system, which comprises real time and historical analytics for returns, risk, optimization, and attribution. He has previously been the CTO at several startups, including Omnipod, which became part of Symantec's Cloud solution, and Thor, now Oracle's Identity Management product, and served as the president of LUNY!, the Linux Users of New York.

Ari Talja, Technical Director at Rovio: "Riak at Rovio: war stories"

Ari is working as Lead Server Architect in Rovio, the developer of Angry Birds. He is currently leading a group of server side developers to build highly scalable services on top of cloud environments. He has been working in software industry for over 12 years and has been building all kinds of things before joining the gaming industry officially about 1.5 years ago.
