Big Data NOVA is for anyone interested in concepts and technologies associated with the 'Big Data' community - emphasis on the community!
We welcome anyone and everyone in the Northern Virginia/DMV area - even if you're just passing through! People come for the swag, food, and drinks - stay for the talks from community experts and leaders in the field from Cloudera, Google, Elastic, IBM, Red Hat, and more!
Fierce Software organizes these user groups as a 'Thank You' for the community - we specialize in enterprise open-source software which wouldn't be here without the community so we like to pay it forward.
Learn what other community members are doing in their Data Science practices, and see some cool live experiments! If you're a fan of networking, there's also a chance to meet with companies in the area looking to hire your talents.
We try to meet at least once every 3 months and would love to see you there!
