Powered by Apache IgniteTM (incubating)
6:00 P.M. - 6:30 P.M. Networking / Introduction
6:30 P.M. - 7:20 P.M. Session 1
Title: Apache Ignite™ (incubating): JCache and Beyond
Speaker: Dmitriy Setrakyan, co-founder and EVP of Engineering, GridGain Systems
Speaker bio: Dmitriy Setrakyan is a co-founder and EVP of Engineering at GridGain Systems. Dmitriy has been designing, architecting and developing software and applications for over 15 years and has expertise in the development of distributed computing systems, middleware platforms, financial trading systems, CRM applications and similar systems. Dmitriy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of
California at Davis specializing in Networking and Algorithms.
Abstract: In this presentation, Dmitriy will describe the strategy and architecture behind the Apache Ignite(TM) (incubating) In-Memory Data Fabric, a high-performance, distributed in-memory data management software layer that boosts application performance and scale by orders of magnitude. We will dive into the technical details of distributed clusters and compute grids as well as distributed data grids. As integral parts of an In-Memory Data Fabric, Dmitriy will also cover distributed streaming, CEP and Hadoop acceleration. This presentation is particularly relevant for software developers and architects who work on the front lines of high-speed, low-latency Fast Data systems, high-performance transactional systems and real-time analytics applications.
