Paddleboard Kealakekua Bay from Manini Beach

Details
Let's play in the bay. The plan is to launch from Manini Beach, (permit required), and paddle across the bay towards the monument. We'll take an arch shape approach to the paddle, staying closer to the shoreline. This is about a mile and a fourth paddle each way.
This is considered an intermediate paddle due to ocean conditions.
What to bring:
- Bring your own paddle/board
- Water/hydration
- Sun protection
- Safety/Emergency device(s)
**DLNR permit to traverse the bay
**You can obtain your free permit here ---> https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/dsp/parks/hawaii/kealakekua-bay-state-historical-park/
