Day of The Dead Festival - Hollywood Forever Cemetery

Let's go to the Day of the Dead Festival at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Such an interesting event and great photography opportunities! It's the biggest celebration of its kind outside of Mexico.

**Important -- there are two separate ticketed events: 1) Day or 2) Evening. Please buy the Day ticket if you want to meet up.
*Cost: Tickets are $40 + Tax -- total cost approximately $49. You are buying your own ticket directly from the event site.
*Where to Meet: Come through main gate, and there is a building immediately to the right. Look for Marsha with a "Big Life Adventures" Meetup sign. 11:30am meeting time. See below with more info.
*Events: The specific schedule is not yet posted, but there are musical concerts, Day of the Dead parades inside the cemetery, and just some time to walk around and check out the decorated gravestones. I will point out some famous celebrity resting places. Many people dress up in Day of the Dead costumes, so the people-watching is great!
*Timing: We will meet up inside at 11:30am However, your day ticket allows you access to the event from 9am - 3pm. There will be a line to get into the gate -- allow probably 30 minutes of waiting in line depending when you come, and allow time for parking - see the website above and it tells you specific parking lots.
