🦃Pre - Thanksgiving Hike - Griffith Park + Guests Welcome!

Let's do a Day- Before- Thanksgiving hike so we can eat pumpkin pie guilt-free on Thanksgiving! Let's face it -- no one is really working on the day before Thanksgiving, right? So let's go hiking! Feel free to bring your out-of-town (adult) guests on the hike. Your well-behaved dogs are welcome too - -just don't forget the water for them (and for yourself).
What: Relatively easy (advanced beginner) approx 2-3 mile hike in Griffith Park -- The Old Zoo trail. Yes, some hills, so you'll burn some calories but all on gravel roads so nothing at all tricky, and there's some nice scenery along the way.
Where: Meet at Merry Go Round Lot 2 in Griffith Park. Allow a little extra time if you have never been here, to find it. I believe the approximate street address is 4668 Crystal Springs Drive, Los Angeles 90027 or you can search "Old Zoo Picnic Area" in your Maps. There are 2 parking lots near the Merry Go Round -- this is the second one that is nearest to the Old Zoo Picnic area.
*I think we will beat sunset, but consider to bring a flashlight or headlamp just in case.
