Details
Date: January 31st
Time: 07:00am
Primary Meeting: Berthoud Pass (Exact Trailhead TBD)
Optional Carpool: 05:45am at Wooly Mammoth Lot Section EE (We will leave at 5:45am)
Join us for a backcountry ski/splitboard day at Berthoud Pass. We will meet at 7am, do a brief planning and transceiver check in the lot, and then head up the skin track. You can plan on somewhere between 2,000-3,000 ft. of elevation, but it depends how the group is feeling. Safety is our top priority. We will stick to low angle terrain, but look for good snow! With that said, I will pick a trailhead as it gets closer to the event. Optional post-tour lunch and coffee at Empire's Edge in Empire. *This event is weather and condition dependent, so please check the event thread to get any updates.
The Berthoud lots fill early, so arrive by 7:00am to ensure parking. Or meet me and others at Wooly Mammoth lot by 5:45am to carpool.
This event is capped at 10 people, so please update your RSVP's Accordingly.
