Sunset Paddle at Horsetooth Reservoir

There's nothing quite like ending the day on the water.

Join Big Mountain Adventures Denver for a relaxed evening of paddleboarding as we watch the sun set over Horsetooth Reservoir from beautiful Satanka Cove.

Bring your kayak or paddle board, and whatever drinks and snacks you want. this will be a relaxing paddle/float.

We'll launch from Satanka Cove and spend the evening exploring the shoreline, floating together, and soaking in the incredible golden-hour views. We'll paddle at a comfortable, social pace with plenty of opportunities to stop, relax, take photos, and enjoy the scenery.

Entrance permits are required for Horsetooth Reservoir: $10/vehicle
Permits are valid for 24 hours from date of purchase.
Ways to purchase Daily entrance permits:

1. Self-serve pay stations located at trailhead or day use area: Pay by credit or debit card prior to entering the park.
2. In-person at visitor center or offices: Stop by the Natural Resources Administrative Offices, the Horsetooth Area Information Center, and the Hermit Park Office to purchase a daily or annual permit.
3. Through your phone using Text2Park. Simply park your car on site and scan the QR code posted on signage near the kiosk, or text LCPERMIT to the 5-digit code 25023. Locate the parking lot you are visiting in the app, enter your license plate number, and then follow the prompts to purchase a day use permit. Your permit will be tied to your license plate number and will be electronically processed. You will not receive a paper permit. Please note! Purchasing a day use permit via Text2Park before entering the park does NOT guarantee you a parking space.

### Important Notes

• All participants should be comfortable on the water and able to swim. You are responsible for your own safety.
• This is a recreational, social paddle, not a guided lesson.
• Weather and wind conditions can change quickly. If conditions become unsafe, the event may be ended earlier than anticipated, postponed or canceled.
