December 13th: Christmas Cheese and Reindeer Games!🎄
A cheese-filled variety show in support of Babylon Migrants Project.
This mouth-watering evening of cheese tasting, festive music, holiday stories and Christmas parlour games is not to be missed!
What makes for the ultimate Christmas corker? Mince pies that are sleigh-ed to perfection? Tunes that are snow good you can’t help but dance? Games that’ll have you in yule fits of laughter? Join us for the 2024 grand finale of The Big Smoke Variety Show as we unwrap every festive tradition that makes Christmas the most wonderful time of the year!
There’ll be an interactive cheese tasting throughout the night with our brie-lliant cheese specialist, international cheese judge and author of The Cheese Wheel, Emma Young @thecheeseexplorer whose knowledge will leave you feta-ly impressed! Get ready to jingle bell rock with festive music led by Joe Atkins, and cozy up for some holly jolly stories performed by actors Adam Cunis and Hollie Hales. All this, and many more seasonal surprises, will help us dig deep into the spirit of the season... mulled and all!
All proceeds from this evening will go towards supporting Babylon Migrants Project, a Community Interest Company which runs creative activities by and for young people from refugee, asylum seeking and migrant backgrounds.
Check out our Instagram @thebigsmokevariety for further details and announcements.

The Big Smoke is a variety show and live recorded podcast. It takes inspiration from classic TV variety shows and late night chat shows with a theatrical bent towards exploring the ancient rituals of gathering and community. In our world, where the algorithms of social media are driving humanity further and further apart, The Big Smoke, by its very nature, will bring unexpected audiences together for a variety show, the likes of which they have never seen. Come gather at Soho's Sacred Grounds cafe on Dean Street for a night of comedy, conversation, and community with wit and wisdom from your host, Kevin Bennett!
