About us
Welcome to Big Talk — Debates & Ideas, a community for people who enjoy discussing important questions, challenging assumptions, and hearing different points of view.
Each event is built around one central question. We explore it through arguments, counterarguments, questions, and open discussion.
Topics may include:
- Artificial intelligence and its impact on society
- The future of work and the job market
- Technology and innovation
- Economics, investing, and financial markets
- Education and careers
- Social and cultural change
- Science and society
- Other big questions worth debating
You don't need to be an expert. You just need to be curious, open-minded, and willing to engage respectfully with people who may disagree with you.
Our debates are not about winning or attacking the other side. They're about examining ideas, questioning our own assumptions, understanding opposing arguments, and maybe leaving the conversation thinking a little differently.
We’ll begin with online debates, making it easy for people from different cities and countries to participate. In-person discussions and workshops may also be organized in the future.
Come with an opinion. Come without one. Just come ready to think, listen, question, and debate.
Welcome to Big Talk.
