It seems like partying and drinking is a mainstay of government work nowadays... so I thought we should have an in-person meet-up and practice some drinking ourselves. This will be a good chance to meet members in London in person, and I think we'll have it as a regular monthly/fortnightly event if it goes well.

Come and meet others interested in politics, working in politics, and books about politics! We're all about agreeing to disagree but in a friendly way - fancy some debate, forming and sharing your views, and a drink? Join us!

The Book: 'Order, Order! The Rise and Fall of Political Drinking' by Ben Wright From Churchill to Stalin, to bribing voters to boozy lunches - a book full of amusing anecdotes. Great to dip in and out of, a bit like a coffee table book... maybe more of a drinks cabinet book.
