🎤 Guest Speaker: Tim Andro
Tim Andro is the owner and lead instructor of Northeast Public Safety Divers. A firefighter since 1998 and public safety diver since 2011, he has more than 20 years of recreational and technical diving experience. Tim founded the North Jersey Regional SCUBA Task Force and the Underwater Forensics & Educational Foundation, and has worked alongside the FBI, U.S. Coast Guard, Port Authority Police of New York and New Jersey, and many other agencies on public safety dive operations.

What really happens beneath the surface during a public safety dive?
Go behind the scenes of real-world search, rescue, and recovery operations as Tim explains how these missions are planned and executed, how public safety diving differs from recreational and technical diving, and shares stories from the field. He’ll also discuss his nonprofit foundation and how divers can get involved through training, volunteering, or supporting the cause.
