Join us for our November Club Meeting as we take an incredible journey to Antarctica with three of our very own club members who participated in the Explorers Club Flag Expedition to Antarctica earlier this year! 🇦🇶❄️
John Beninati, Adarsh Mammen Verghese, and Anna Svanidze will take us behind the scenes of an unforgettable expedition to one of the most remote and extraordinary places on Earth.
🌊 ABOUT THE TALK: Explorers Club Flag Expedition to Antarctica
John and Anna will share stories from the expedition, including what it was like to dive in Antarctic waters and the adventures and challenges the team encountered along the way. 🤿❄️
Adarsh, who was involved in nearly every scientific project conducted aboard the ship, will take us behind the scenes of the expedition’s research—from collecting marine biological specimens and sediment samples for microplastics research to conducting high-latitude radio experiments. 🔬🌊
Come hear what it was like to explore, dive, and conduct scientific research in one of the most remote environments on the planet—and experience Antarctica through the eyes of three members of our own diving community! 💙
