Please be prompt. There will be traffic and construction slow-down along Tamiami Trail. I do not have reception in this area so I will not receive messages telling me you are running late or to wait for you. Please plan accordingly.
Google Map Gator Hook Trail. It is fairly easy to find.

What to bring:
At least 2L of water
Wear comfortable breathable and cool clothing- Jeans NOT recommended
Recommended shoes- sneakers that are comfortable and dry quickly.
-No waterproof shoes-
Wear sunblock and bug repellent
Hiking poles are highly recommended

Informaton:
This trail is usually pretty dry around this time of year but be prepared to possibly hike through some water and/or mud. It's been a long wet season for this section.
It is a moderate to strenuous footpath due to the large limestone holes along the way. There are areas with little to no shade
