When AI goes wrongAI and machine learning can be transformative for businesses when used correctly. However, if used wrongly, AI and machine learning can do more harm than good. Here, Data Science expert Tom Liptrot will explain when not to use them, and give some pointers on how to use them successfully.
## Speaker
Tom Liptrot is the founder of AI consultancy Ortom, where he helps startups and scaleups to use machine learning and AI. Previously Tom was head of data science at Peak.ai, and he set up the first data science team in the NHS at the Christie Hospital in Manchester. He has over 10 years experience designing, building and deploying machine learning models in businesses. He speaks on data science and AI widely including conferences, meetups, and recently at a standup comedy show on data science.
