Trail Work Volunteering @ Middlesex Fells

We'll be gathering and placing both large and smaller rocks as we continue to repair some rock steps and a footbridge along a section of the Cross Fells Trail a short ten-minute hike from the kiosk at the Flynn Rink. Please dress warmly, wear sturdy shoes, bring a water bottle and either a pick or shovel if you have one. We'll supply additional tools. Heavy snow on the ground or very cold temps (25 or below) may transform this work day into a 2-3 mile hike nearby, depending on conditions.
