Machine Learning and Statistics: An Introduction

Details
Welcome to another session, everyone!
In this session, we will look at how statistics allows us to learn from data, and how machine learning has developed from the science of inference.
In particular, we're going to look at a topic that is central to both ML and statistics: distributions.
We will see how distributions are formed and why both ML and statistical models depend on distributions for extracting relationships and making inferences.
Highlights:
- Frequencies and Probabilities
- Statistical Distributions
- Multi-Modal Distributions
- Mixture Distributions
Furthermore, we will look at effective methods for learning statistics, machine learning, and the mathematical prerequisites that is necessary for mastering statistical learning.
This training is part of the program called 'Professional Certificate in Statistics and Programming' at BigNumber.
You are welcome to attend this session, ask questions about statistics and programming, and decide if this program is right for you.
